The 1st Tip:
Alleviate Classroom Stress during the holidays by keep your students busy at all times. Have tons of fun and educational busy work at your fingertips. When you assign it, be sure to give it out as something fun to do, not consequence for their behavior.

The 2nd Tip:
Alleviate stress by promoting good behavior. Give a ton of praise for appropriate behavior. 😍 And have incentives on hand to pass out. 🎅❤️ Here are some ⛄ Winter Incentives that you can use all the way through winter.

This resource includes PUNCH CARDS, BOOKMARKS, & AWARD CERTIFICATES. Kids love these!!
The 3rd Tip:
Alleviate Holiday Stress by Playing Christmas Music! Kids love to work to music that they know and love. I love to hear them singing as they work. You’ll know the best times to play music. During an assessment, it could be too distracting for some students. Play more soothing music when you want them to calm down… like a Christmas symphony.
Or 🎄Kids Christmas Music🎄 when it’s ok to giggle and sing. I’m sure you have your favorite station for Kid’s Christmas Music on your favorite streaming service.
Here are some of my favorite times to play music:
- Arrival – Morning Work
- Prep Times – Lunch, Recess, Library, Specials, etc.
- Returning from an activity
- Center Time
- Dismissal
Before you go….
